By the use of a machine the seeds are fermented and the slimy layer is removed of the still present seed. The coffee beans undergo several procedures before they become the roasted beans. Since early ages the berries have been selected and picked by hands by a labor intensive method. The berries are selected only if they are at the peak of their ripeness. After picking the green coffee it undergoes either of the two methods: The dry process and the wet process.
Depending on the type of coffee the caffeine content of a single coffee bean can vary largely. Depending mainly on the brewing method, the caffeine content of a single cup of coffee is decided by its brewing method.
